The programme starts when you land in Bali and ends when you fly out of Bali. International travel times depend on the flights you choose.
Day 1Arrival in Bali
We pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel in the south of the island. After the long journey there's time to rest, and in the evening you'll meet the group over a welcome drink. The airport transfer is included.
Day 2Southern beaches and an evening in Jimbaran
Your first day by the ocean is an easy one: swimming, the beach and your first local dishes. Towards evening we head to Jimbaran, where you can choose fresh fish and have dinner right on the sand. Dinner is paid locally.
Day 3Uluwatu: the cliff temple and the beach below
Pura Luhur Uluwatu stands on a cliff above the ocean and is one of the island's holiest temples. Then we walk down the cliff to a quieter beach and finish at a clifftop viewpoint. Expect a walk down and back up; keep sunglasses and small items away from the temple macaques.
Day 4Free day or Nusa Lembonganoptional, extra cost
A free day by the pool or on the beach. If you like, add a fast-boat trip to Nusa Lembongan: getting around the island by local transport, lunch overlooking the bay, time on the beach and the waves at Devil's Tear. The trip is optional and paid separately.
Day 5The glass-bottom pool above the cliffs
A day at the resort known for its glass-bottom pool above the cliffs: lunch, a swim and ocean views. In the afternoon we move on to the beach. Resort entry is paid locally.
Day 6By boat to Gili Trawangan
By car to Padangbai harbour and by boat to Gili Trawangan; the journey takes a good part of the day. Then island time begins. Spend the afternoon on the beach or explore the island by bike. There are no cars on Gili – you get everywhere on foot or by bike.
Day 7Optional catamaran cruiseoptional, €100 pp
An optional catamaran cruise around Gili Meno, Gili Air and Gili Trawangan with breakfast and a buffet lunch. With a guide you snorkel at the underwater statues, Turtle City and the Secret Garden reef off Gili Air. If you skip it, the day is yours. The cruise is paid separately.
Day 8Transfer to Ubud
By boat back to Bali and on to Ubud in an air-conditioned minibus. It's mostly a travel day; in the evening you can wander Ubud's streets and try the local food.
Day 9Rice terraces and the Monkey Forest
Terraced rice fields and a Kopi Luwak coffee tasting in the morning, then after lunch the Monkey Forest – a sacred forest home to lots of macaques. It's an easy-paced day, mostly on foot.
Day 10Sekumpul waterfall and Ulun Danu temple
A full day in the north. With a local guide you walk through the jungle to the Sekumpul falls, where you can swim. On the way back we stop at Ulun Danu Beratan temple on Lake Bratan. A more active day – bring swimwear and shoes that can get wet.
Day 11Free day or Leke Leke waterfalloptional, €35 pp
A day at your own pace: shopping, the pool, or an optional half-day trip to Leke Leke waterfall in the rainforest. The trip is paid separately.
Day 12Free day and departure
Your last day in Bali is for resting and packing. We take you to the airport in time for your flight. If you'd like to stay longer, we can arrange an extension.

Questions about the tour
Got a question about this tour?
Send us a message and we'll help you decide.
Are flights included?
International flights aren't included – prices change daily and everyone flies from somewhere different (roughly from €800). After booking we recommend suitable connections and can buy the tickets for you. Boats in the programme are included.
Where will I sleep?
In twin/double rooms. For every tour you can see the type of accommodation at each stop; the accommodation images on the site are illustrative. The specific hotels are part of your booking confirmation, before you pay the deposit.
How do we get around?
Around Bali in an air-conditioned car or minibus with a driver. To Gili Trawangan and back by fast boat; the optional Nusa Lembongan trip is by boat too. You'll find every transfer on its day in the programme.
How fit do I need to be?
The tours don't need a high level of fitness – average fitness is enough. Some walks down to beaches and to waterfalls are more demanding. The Rinjani trek is a separate trip for fitter travellers.
I'm travelling solo. What about my room?
You can choose a single room for a supplement or ask to share a twin room with another solo traveller of the same gender. We confirm sharing only once a roommate is found; if not, the single-room supplement applies. We'll let you know in advance, before the final payment.
How do payments work?
Once your booking is confirmed you pay a deposit, and the rest in instalments before the tour starts. If you book late and an instalment would already be due, it's added to the deposit. You see the exact amounts and dates in the summary before you send your request. Trips are paid in full by card – straight away for an instant order, otherwise via the link we send once availability is confirmed.
What if I need to change or cancel?
For tours you receive the change and cancellation terms with your booking confirmation, before you pay the deposit; for trips you see them before you pay. If something changes, write to us as soon as you can – we'll look for a way for you to travel.
Can I extend my stay?
Yes, by as many days as you like. We'll arrange accommodation, transfers and trips – just add a note when you book.
Do I need a visa?
Slovak and Czech citizens can get a tourist Visa on Arrival or apply online in advance for an e-VOA at evisa.imigrasi.go.id. The fee is IDR 500,000; the visa is valid for 30 days and can be extended once in Indonesia for another 30 days. Your passport must be valid for at least six months. Fill in the All Indonesia arrival card no earlier than three days before arrival (allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id or the app), and visitors to Bali pay a tourist levy of IDR 150,000 per person – online in advance at lovebali.baliprov.go.id or at the airport. As of 30 September 2026 – rules change, so check the official sites before you travel.
