Blue Lagoon near Padang Bai is one of the best snorkelling spots on Bali itself – the water is clear and the coral starts a few metres from shore. A boat takes you to two sites for an hour each, followed by a shower and lunch. Ideal if you'd rather not spend a full day on an island boat trip.
