An unforgettable experience! As complete beginners when it comes to hiking, we found the climb quite a challenge. Everyone was incredibly helpful, though, and supported us all the way. A big thank you to our driver Pasek and our guide Nyoman, who also took some beautiful photos of us at the summit. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed a breathtaking sunrise with barely a cloud in sight.

It was fantastic value, and we enjoyed every minute. Our hotel pickup arrived right on time, and our guide was very helpful, encouraging us and lending a hand throughout the climb. The hike to the summit is quite demanding, but motorbike rides are also available for those who find it too strenuous. All in all, a very well-organised activity that we would definitely recommend.
The climb to the summit really put us through our paces, but our guide gave us plenty of breaks to rest and catch our breath. That made it even more rewarding when we finally reached the top and waited for sunrise. Despite the mist, we managed to catch a glimpse of the sun. Many thanks to our driver and guide for looking after us and getting us back safely. Unfortunately, we can’t remember their names, but they did a wonderful job.
There are plenty of excellent guides in Bali, but in our opinion, Mr Arsana is in a league of his own. If you want to get to know the island and enjoy a lovely day at the same time, we can’t imagine a better guide. He went far beyond all our expectations. Five stars simply aren’t enough for him — we would give him twenty! He did so much more for us than he needed to.
A wonderful day visiting some beautiful places. We were incredibly lucky at the iconic Gates of Heaven and didn’t have to wait at all. The water temple was stunning, and we had so much fun at the waterfall. A great mix of sights, nature and experiences in a single day.
We had a fantastic full-day trip in Bali, visiting the Gates of Heaven, Tirta Gangga water palace, Goa Raja waterfall, the Tegallalang rice terraces and the famous Bali Swing.
Our guide and driver, Yobali, played a huge part in making it such a great experience. He was friendly, helpful and knew all the places we visited very well. We learned so many interesting things from him, and he turned out to be an excellent photographer too. He knew exactly where and how to take photos, so we have some beautiful pictures to remember the day.
We set off at four in the morning, which proved to be a great decision. We enjoyed sunrise at the Gates of Heaven and avoided the long queues that can sometimes mean waiting for hours.
As the rice terraces were busy, Yobali found us another equally beautiful spot for the Bali Swing, where we could enjoy it without the crowds.
The whole day was brilliantly planned, the places were beautiful and our guide was fantastic. Highly recommended!
We took a full-day trip to some of Bali’s best-known photo spots, and everything was very well organised. We travelled in a comfortable Toyota Innova that was clean, spacious and had excellent air conditioning.
Our driver Dwipa was also our guide, and he looked after us wonderfully throughout the day. He drove safely, was reliable and knew lots of interesting things about each place.
Our first stop was Lempuyang Temple with its famous Gates of Heaven. We then continued to the beautiful Tirta Gangga water palace, which is also a park today.
For lunch, we stopped at Lereng Agung restaurant, with amazing views and a swing over the jungle. Next came Goa Raja waterfall, where we could cool off in the water and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
Our final stop was the Abian Desa rice terraces in the Tegallalang area. Alongside the historic terraced rice fields, there are attractions including a zip line, swings and a restaurant.
The whole trip was both fun and informative. Dwipa also took lots of great photos of us. Thanks to him, we really enjoyed our day.
We took a two-day trip with an overnight stay and certainly weren’t disappointed. The village we visited is incredibly beautiful, and the local people are exceptionally kind and welcoming. The guides know the area very well and are happy to share their knowledge.
We also appreciated the stops along the way, which gave us a chance to rest. The hike up to the village is physically demanding and takes around an hour and a half to two hours, but the experience is well worth the effort.
The delicious local food was another lovely surprise. We warmly recommend the whole trip.
If you’re thinking about visiting this beautiful village, don’t hesitate. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
Our guides, Ardis and Hary, were amazing. They gave us lots of attention, made sure we were comfortable and taught us so many new things.
The journey to the village was beautiful too, and thanks to our driver Rano, everything went smoothly.
We couldn’t have asked for more from the experience. We’re so grateful that we had the chance to discover such a special place with these wonderful people.
Our visit to Wae Rebo is something we will never forget. This place really does feel like another world. Its culture, traditions and, above all, its people create a truly unique atmosphere.
Our guide Wanjju was fantastic. As well as guiding us brilliantly, he took beautiful photos, videos and drone footage that will be wonderful reminders of the trip.
The drive takes around three to four hours, followed by another two hours of hiking. But when the village of Wae Rebo suddenly appears in front of you, you forget all the effort.
Wanjju even managed to include an afternoon visit to Nusa Molas, adding even more to the trip.
An unforgettable experience, made special not just by the places, but by the people we shared it with.
Thank you to Adi for a wonderful day exploring the Ubud area. He was both our driver and guide, and created a friendly, relaxed atmosphere right from the start.
He knew the places we visited very well, happily explained everything and took lots of beautiful photos of us.
The pace of the trip suited us perfectly. Adi also adapted the itinerary to our interests and arranged the stops so we could make the most of our time.
It was a lovely day that we’ll remember for a long time. Thank you again!
We can definitely recommend this trip around Ubud. Our guide Tia was lovely, friendly and very knowledgeable about the places we visited.
We managed to see all the planned stops and even a few extra places along the way. A thoroughly enjoyable day full of interesting experiences.
Our guide Dharma looked after us throughout the trip and accompanied us at every stop. We felt as though he knew the story behind every place we visited. He was very attentive and did far more for us than we expected.
One interesting experience was visiting Bali Cat Poo Chino, where we saw civets and tasted local coffee and teas. The animals were adorable, and we really enjoyed the visit.
All three of us had a wonderful day and came away with lots of lovely memories.
We had a fantastic trip with our guide Soma. The rice fields were beautiful, and we really enjoyed the rope activities and swings.
The temple visit was another highlight, and we ended the day with a refreshing stop at the waterfalls.
A great combination of nature, culture and fun. Soma was an excellent guide and took care of everything brilliantly.
We had a perfect day with an amazing guide. He explained everything clearly, was incredibly kind and happily adapted the itinerary to our requests. The whole trip was fantastic, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
We spent six lovely hours exploring the Ubud area with our guide Ageng. We visited the Tegallalang rice terraces, Tirta Empul Temple, a coffee plantation and Tibumana waterfall.
We had plenty of time at every stop and never felt rushed. Ageng was friendly, helpful and happy to tell us about local culture and the area.
He took lots of beautiful photos of us, which we’re very grateful for.
We also really enjoyed the coffee plantation visit. We tasted some excellent local coffee and even tried kopi luwak, which we really liked.
The whole day was relaxed and enjoyable, and we can only recommend this trip. Thank you! ❤️
We were absolutely delighted with the whole trip. Our guide Ariga was fantastic and made sure everything flowed smoothly, without unnecessary waiting.
We particularly appreciated the chance to learn more about Balinese traditions, rituals and local culture. It wasn’t just about visiting beautiful places; it gave us a much deeper understanding of life in Bali.
A truly special experience that we certainly won’t forget.
Our guide Yuda was simply brilliant. He spoke excellent German and explained everything clearly and in detail.
We felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the trip. Every stop was worth visiting, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day. We can only recommend Yuda.
We had a wonderful day in Bali, visiting a temple where purification rituals take place, a coffee plantation and the rice terraces.
Everything was very well organised, but our driver Dodi made the biggest difference to our experience.
He was exceptionally kind, calm and professional. He arrived right on time, drove safely and shared lots of interesting stories about Bali along the way.
We felt comfortable with him throughout and knew we were being well looked after.
If you want to discover Bali with a friendly, experienced driver who can also introduce you to local life and culture, Dodi is a great choice.
The trip itself was amazing, but our guide Eddie made it even better. He was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about everything we saw along the way.
His excellent English was a real bonus and made communication effortless.
All in all, a fantastic experience that we would definitely recommend.
